As this is an older vehicle, the main concern a buyer might have is longevity and maintenance costs. Rest assured, this van has been 5-star maintained and we have just recently replaced $15k in critical components to ensure that we are selling a vehicle that will last for many adventures to come. She is running like a dream! There have been 2 owners (the conversion builder and myself) since the conversion from being a commercial vehicle to an adventure-mobile, and we both have taken great care of the vehicle.
Recent maintenance history:
– New Transmission in after some shifting issues (July 2023)
– New Battery (July 2023)
– New EGR Cooler and EGR Valve to keep emissions low and ensure engine stays clean (July 2023)
– New Turbo controller (computer module) and wiring harness to all turbo sensors (May 2022)
– Full inspection checks to include all systems, brake pads, and tires performed in 2021, 2022, and 2023
– Regular oil/fluid changes every 3k miles
– Maintenance for the last 3 years is well documented and will be provided to serious buyers

-Eberspacher 12-V Diesel Heater installed but doesn’t function. I’ve never used it or tried to fix it (hardly ever needed to as it’s very warm in the bed, plus you have the van heat and the battery can support a space heater)

[Stealth Camping]
We wanted to spend a lot of time in nature, but we also like to visit cities and prefer to not be obviously camping in the car. This van is comfortable on the inside and looks like a regular van a contractor would use from the outside:
-No visible signs of RV campers from the outside (except for solar panels and fan on top of the van, which aren’t very visible from eye level)
-Blackout curtain and velcro allow you to have the lights on inside and not have people notice you outside
