2001 Dodge Ram 1500.
Fully converted in 2019.
Two functional solar panels run the sink pump, inside lights, Fantastic Fan, refrigerator, and solar conversion box ( to allow plug inside and USB charging). Brand new RV battery for holding the solar power.
*Honestly, I’ve made the selection of solar power, inverter type and battery type for this listing. But I’m not positive what they are…I have all and they function perfectly. I’m happy to send details and pictures.
Two top stove runs on propane. Propane also runs the brand new, never used, water heater for the shower head. The water heater/ shower head are door mounted, inside. It means being creative or stepping outside to shower. Water tank for sink/ shower. Easy to fill in place.
Mechanically sound- the van has been babied. Oil changes and fluids current, new transmission has only about 1,000 miles on it . Tires are at about 30 percent left. Brand new battery.
Viper security system with remote start, and phone security alerts. It does need a Viper dealer to program it to the new owner. I put in a new battery I just didn’t program yet.
Excellent and loud Kenwood stereo, 4-6 speakers and Kicker Subwoofer. Back up StorageScreen can also show movies, your phone screen etc. I have not done that though.
Storage above cab and bed, under bed, and above kitchen counter. Storage drawers next to bed. Pull out wood cutting board/ table top.
Wood paneled walls, counter and finishing. Laminate wood looking floor.
Fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide alarm.
Dark tint in all windows except front.
Can fit a queen mattress with a few inches cut off bottom, but has a newish, single size memory foam mattress at the moment- giving more storage space next to bed, by back door.
“Toilet” is a bucket system within a nice ottoman to disguise it/ use for seating. Hey, it works.
Body of van is fair. Slight damage from someone rolling into it above right rear tire. Pinstriping coming off is some places just due to weathering. It honestly looks pretty good over all. See pics.
This van has never let me down. I have traveled extensively as well as local to the PNW. I have all instruction information on solar, etc. as well as any repair receipts.
A lot of memories in this van but I won’t be traveling again for a long while, so not going to hang onto it.
About 189,680 miles on it right now. Current registration, clean title, no accidents.
